We find it of the utmost importance to be transparent about what we do with donations. On a yearly base, we review our work in an annual report. In our annual reports, you will find that the majority of the contributions go straight to the benefit of the children, which we find very important. Furthermore, we strive to limit the overhead to a maximum of 5%. Low costs are possible because Kolewa has a lot of volunteers and sponsors as well as board members who perform their activities without any form of compensation.

Since 2017 Yayasan Kolewa Harapan is an officially registered NGO in Indonesia and counterpart of Stichting Kolewa Holland. Since 2018, in addition to the annual report of the Dutch Foundation, there is also a report of the Indonesian foundation. You will find it in one document in the links below. Policy plan
Every year we make a policy plan where we explain our programs and projects for the upcoming year. The Indonesian Kolewa Foundation explains in their policy the projects and needed budgets. Part of the required funds is raised in the Netherlands by Stichting Kolewa, after the approval of the application by the Indonesian board. Other funds do come from fundraising activities in Indonesia and other parts of the world.
